How to get a Story URL

  1. Copy the URL from the Website, or hit share and copy the URL on the App.
  2. For example, wattpad.com/story/9341306-news-updates.
  3. www.wattpad.com/1623482034-news-updates is okay too.
  4. Paste the URL and hit Download!

How to download a Dokuga story as PDF

  1. Copy the Dokuga story URL from your browser. It should look similar to http://www.dokuga.com/fanfiction/story/1234/1.
  2. Paste the URL into the download form above.
  3. Select PDF as the output format.
  4. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
  5. Start the download and sign in to Discord when prompted. PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in.
  6. Wait for WP Downloader to collect the whole story and prepare the PDF.

You can paste the same link into the main Dokuga downloader. WP Downloader will detect the site automatically.

What the PDF includes

The PDF contains the whole Dokuga story, even when the URL points to a particular chapter. WP Downloader does not download individual Dokuga chapters or lists.

For a reflowable ebook, use the Dokuga to EPUB converter. EPUB downloads are free for everyone and do not require a Discord sign-in.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. It also cannot add new chapters to a PDF or EPUB you already downloaded. If the story is updated, paste its link again and download a new copy.

Dokuga support was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader released under the Apache-2.0 license. The supported sites page lists the other fiction archives available through WP Downloader.

Signing in to Dokuga

Signing in to Dokuga is optional. If a story is restricted to members, you can sign in with your Dokuga account to access it through WP Downloader.

WP Downloader uses your Dokuga credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It can download only material your account is allowed to read and does not bypass member restrictions, paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.

The two sign-ins have separate purposes. Your Dokuga account provides access to members-only stories, while a free Discord sign-in is required to create a PDF.

FAQ

Can I download a single Dokuga chapter?

No. WP Downloader downloads whole Dokuga stories only. You can paste a chapter URL, but the PDF will contain the whole story.

Is downloading a Dokuga story as PDF free?

Yes. WP Downloader is free, and PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in.

Can I include story images?

Yes. Select the image option in the download form before starting the download.

What if the Dokuga story gets new chapters?

Paste the story link again to download a new file with the available chapters. WP Downloader cannot update an existing PDF or EPUB. See WP Downloader help for more guidance.
