How to get a Story URL

  1. Copy the URL from the Website, or hit share and copy the URL on the App.
  2. For example, wattpad.com/story/9341306-news-updates.
  3. www.wattpad.com/1623482034-news-updates is okay too.
  4. Paste the URL and hit Download!

WP Downloader saves complete English-language stories from Fiction.live as EPUB or PDF files. It is a free web tool, so there is nothing to install.

How to download a Fiction.live story

  1. Copy the story URL from fiction.live or beta.fiction.live. It should look like https://fiction.live/stories/Example-Story-Title/17CharacterIDhere/home.
  2. Paste the URL into the download form at the top of this page.
  3. Select EPUB or PDF and choose whether to include the story’s images.
  4. Start the download and wait for WP Downloader to prepare the story.
  5. Save the ebook to your device and open it in an EPUB or PDF reader.

WP Downloader downloads the whole story from a Fiction.live link. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories. When the author publishes more chapters, paste the link again and download a new copy. WP Downloader cannot update an existing EPUB.

Available formats

EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.

You can include the story’s images in either format. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. For instructions specific to each format, read the Fiction.live to EPUB guide or Fiction.live to PDF guide.

Fiction.live support was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0. WP Downloader also works with other fiction archives listed on the supported sites page.

Sign-in requirements

You do not need a Fiction.live account. Paste the story URL into the form and select a format.

EPUB does not require a sign-in. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader only downloads content available through the link and does not bypass paywalls, locked content, or age restrictions.

FAQ

Can I download a single Fiction.live chapter?

No. WP Downloader downloads the whole story from a Fiction.live link. It does not support single chapters or story lists from this site.

Can I download from beta.fiction.live?

Yes. WP Downloader accepts story links from fiction.live and beta.fiction.live.

Can I add new chapters to an EPUB I already downloaded?

No. Submit the Fiction.live story link again and download a new copy when new chapters are published.

Why is my Fiction.live link not working?

Make sure you copied the complete story URL and that it matches the usual Fiction.live format. If it still does not work, visit the help guides.
