How to get a Story URL

  1. Copy the URL from the Website, or hit share and copy the URL on the App.
  2. For example, wattpad.com/story/9341306-news-updates.
  3. www.wattpad.com/1623482034-news-updates is okay too.
  4. Paste the URL and hit Download!

How to download a FictionHunt story as a PDF

  1. Open the story on FictionHunt and copy its URL. It should look like https://fictionhunt.com/stories/1a1a1a/story-title.

  2. Paste the URL into the form above. You can also use the main FictionHunt downloader page.

  3. Select PDF. To include the story’s images, choose that option before continuing.

  4. Sign in to FictionHunt when prompted. WP Downloader needs access to a FictionHunt account before it can retrieve the story.

  5. Sign in with Discord to create the PDF. The Discord sign-in is free and required for PDF downloads.

  6. When the file is ready, download it to your device.

What the download includes

WP Downloader saves the whole FictionHunt story as one PDF. It cannot download a single chapter or a list from FictionHunt. You can choose whether to include the story’s images.

For a reflowable ebook, use the FictionHunt to EPUB converter. EPUB is free for everyone and does not require a Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

The downloaded file will not gain new chapters automatically. When the story is updated, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.

FictionHunt support was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0. The supported sites page lists the other compatible fiction archives.

Signing in

A FictionHunt PDF download requires two sign-ins. Your FictionHunt account gives WP Downloader access to the story, and your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. WP Downloader can download only what your account can already read. It does not bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.

The second sign-in uses Discord and is required for PDF output. Choose EPUB if you do not want to sign in with Discord.

FAQ

Can I download a FictionHunt story without an account?

No. You must sign in with a FictionHunt account before WP Downloader can fetch the story.

Can I download only one chapter?

No. WP Downloader downloads complete FictionHunt stories. It does not support single chapters or lists from this site.

Is EPUB available instead of PDF?

Yes. Use the FictionHunt to EPUB page. EPUB is free for everyone, while PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.

What if the story gets a new chapter later?

Use the same story link to download it again. WP Downloader creates a new file instead of adding chapters to an EPUB or PDF you already have. See Help for more guides.
