How to get a Story URL

  1. Copy the URL from the Website, or hit share and copy the URL on the App.
  2. For example, wattpad.com/story/9341306-news-updates.
  3. www.wattpad.com/1623482034-news-updates is okay too.
  4. Paste the URL and hit Download!

How to download a SquidgeWorld story

  1. Open the story on SquidgeWorld Archive. Its address should look like https://squidgeworld.org/works/123456.
  2. Copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar.
  3. Paste it into the download form above. EPUB is selected by default.
  4. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
  5. Start the download and save the EPUB to your device.

WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It does not support individual SquidgeWorld chapters or story lists. You can also use the main SquidgeWorld downloader to choose between EPUB and PDF.

What you get

The EPUB contains the complete story your account can access when you download it. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can read the file in compatible ebook apps and on supported reading devices.

For a PDF, use the SquidgeWorld to PDF converter. PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. It also cannot update an existing EPUB when new chapters are published. Paste the story link into WP Downloader again to download a new copy.

Signing in to SquidgeWorld Archive

You do not need an account for public SquidgeWorld stories. Signing in is optional and allows WP Downloader to fetch members-only stories that your SquidgeWorld Archive account can read.

WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you request. It cannot bypass account restrictions, paywalls, locked content, or age restrictions. If your account cannot open a story on SquidgeWorld Archive, WP Downloader cannot download it.

Is downloading SquidgeWorld stories as EPUB free?

Yes. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and there is no software to install.

Can I download one chapter by itself?

No. WP Downloader only downloads whole stories from SquidgeWorld Archive. It does not support single chapters or lists from this site.

Do I need a SquidgeWorld account?

Not for public stories. You can sign in with your SquidgeWorld Archive account to download a members-only story that the account can read.

What should I do when a story gains new chapters?

Download the story again. WP Downloader creates a new EPUB instead of updating your existing file. If you have trouble, check the help guides.
